The organic Syracuse P.G.I. lemon is one of the agricultural excellences of our land. Thanks to its organic cultivation, this citrus fruit retains its authentic flavour and unmistakable aroma. This fruit is cultivated without the use of pesticides and chemicals, in respect of the environment and consumer health.
The P.G.I. mark
The P.G.I. (Protected Geographical Indication) mark is a European recognition that guarantees the origin and quality of a product, which must be grown, processed and prepared in a defined geographical area and according to strict production criteria. The Limone di Siracusa P.G.I. (Syracuse Lemon) is one of the few citrus fruits to have obtained this prestigious mark.
Our handicraft production
Our organic Syracuse Lemon P.G.I. marmalade is produced by hand, following a traditional recipe and using only superior quality organic fruit. The fruit is hand-picked and processed at a low temperature to best preserve its organoleptic properties. |Storage||Keep this lemon marmalade at room temperature. After opening, store the product at temperatures within 4 degrees and consume within 14 days.|
|Usage||Excellent at breakfast, in the preparation of crusts and biscuits, but also to flavour fresh fruit salads. It is also recommended with cheese boards and smoked fish.|
