Crepes with organic bitter orange jam preparation
180 ml of milk
90 g of flour
15 g of butter
1 pinch of salt
For the filling
1 jar of Agrisicilia Bitter Orange Marmalade
100 g of walnut kernels
to taste of icing sugar
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan or in the microwave and leave to cool.
2. Place the flour in a bowl and slowly pour in the milk, working with a whisk to avoid creating lumps.
3.Combine the eggs while continuing to work with the whisk.
4.Also add the butter.
5.If possible, let the batter rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes covered with cling film
6. Heat a non-stick pan well, melt a knob of butter in it and pour in a ladle of mixture. Move the pan to distribute the mixture evenly.
7.After 3-4 minutes, when the dough comes away from the edges, turn it gently using a wooden spoon.
8.Place the jam in a bowl and work it with a spoon to soften it, then spread it on the surface of the crepes and complete with a handful of coarsely chopped walnuts.
9.Fold the crepes in half, add another thin layer of jam and some walnuts and fold the crepes further to form small triangles.
10.Complete with lots of icing sugar on the surface and serve while still hot or warm.
